Architectural Specifications
Part I General
Provide shower or tub enclosures as needed for complete and proper installation of a
Euroview enclosure. Furnish, fabricate, and install all items necessary for a Euroview
enclosure, including, but not limited to:
- Glass doors with all associated hardware;
- All additional glass panels;
- All tracks, vinyl seals and mounting hardware for proper installation.
Part II Materials
- All extruded aluminum components are #6463-T5 alloy; buffed and bright dip anodized or
powder coat painted. All exposed screws or fasteners are stainless steel to prevent rust
or corrosion.
- All glass panels are tempered safety glass and conform to CPSC standard 16 CFC 1201
category 1 and 11. All exposed edges shall be polished. All glass shall be 3/8" or
½" thick (Geneva, Zurich, Prima, Elite Series), and 3/16" or ¼" thick
(Master and Image Series).
- All hinges on heavy glass products are constructed of #320 stainless steel (Zurich) or
solid bras (Prima, Geneva), with bushings, gaskets and screws necessary for attaching
hinges to holes or notch provided in glass.
- All extruded vinyl shall provide a waterproof and/or steam seal and shall be applied to
exposed edges of glass where appropriate.
- All handles, pulls or other hardware shall be solid brass, stainless steel, or anodized
aluminum to match frame/hinge finish.
Part III Execution
- All Euroview enclosures shall be installed in a true and workmanlike manner, consistent
with current manufacturers guidelines and instructions.
- Installer is responsible for testing and adjustment to ensure that the door operates
smoothly.
- installer is responsible for cleaning all glass surfaces and the jobsite following
installation.
